Welcome to Tarang, the annual management fest of the School of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology, Calicut. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations governing your participation in Tarang events and activities. By registering for and participating in Tarang, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

  1. Registration

1.1 Eligibility: To participate in Tarang events, you must meet the eligibility criteria specified for each event. Please review event details and eligibility requirements carefully.

1.2 Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process. Any inaccuracies may result in the cancellation of your registration.

  1. Event Participation

2.1 Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during all Tarang events. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in disqualification or removal from the event.

2.2 Event Rules: Participants must adhere to the rules and guidelines established for each event, as provided by Tarang organizers.

  1. Fees and Payments

3.1 Event Fees: Registration fees vary for each event and activity within Tarang. It is your responsibility to review and understand the fees associated with the events you register for.

3.2 Payment: All event fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Tarang reserves the right to cancel your registration if payment is not received.

3.3 No Refunds: Tarang has a no-refund policy for event registration fees. Once payment is made, it is non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the refund policy.

  1. Privacy Policy

4.1 Data Collection: Tarang collects and uses personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By participating in Tarang, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

  1. Event Changes and Cancellations

5.1 Changes: Tarang organizers reserve the right to make changes to event schedules, venues, or formats as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

5.2 Cancellations: In the event of Tarang’s cancellation or rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, organizers will communicate information regarding refunds and alternative arrangements, if applicable.

  1. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership: Any intellectual property, including but not limited to logos, designs, and content associated with Tarang, remains the property of the School of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and its affiliates.

  1. Liability

7.1 Assumption of Risk: Participation in Tarang events may involve certain risks. Participants assume all risks associated with their participation and release Tarang organizers from any liability.

  1. Termination

8.1 Termination: Tarang organizers reserve the right to terminate your participation in any event for violation of these terms and conditions or for disruptive behavior.

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1 Updates: These terms and conditions may be updated or modified at any time. It is your responsibility to review them regularly for changes.

By registering for and participating in Tarang, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in your disqualification or removal from Tarang events.
